Project Donations

Often items of interest, either relics or research material, become available. If we have sufficient funds we are able to purchase these items. We are therefore inviting members & non-members to assist us by contributing towards the purchase of items that may become available in the future.

  • The sponsor/s of the item will have their contribution acknowledged on the Register webpage above.
  • We always make the item available on the website unless copyright issues prevent us.
  • In the unlikely event of Friends of the Cerberus disbanding, the sponsored item would become the property of the sponsor. If there were multiple sponsors the item would be donated to an appropriate museum.
To make a donation now simply click the PayPal Sponsor Item buttons below & enter the amount that you wish to contribute.

To donate anonymously simply mention this in the optional comment field.

Funding Victorian Navy Display at Seaworks, Williamstown

So as to better display the Victorian Navy artefacts in our collection and those on loan we recently lodged grant applications to develop the display in Geelong (now at Seaworks). As the above funding applicaton was unsuccessful we are now asking our supporters for donations so as to present the Victorian Navy artefacts in a professional manner. We are in the process of constructing a full size replica of part of a Cerberus gun turret complete with protruding gun barrels and overhead flying deck.
