Victorian flag flies on Cerberus

For the first time since the proclaiming of the Commonwealth Defence Act on 1 March 1901, a Victorian flag is flying from Cerberus.

The present flag dates from the coronation of Queen Elizabeth in 1953 and features the Union Flag in the top left corner with the southern cross and St Edward's crown on the right half of the flag. Given that the current Victorian Government is the first State Government to support Cerberus it is fitting that this is being recognised by flying the current flag. Cerberus has now flown all 4 Victorian flags throughout her career.
